One trip that I always look forward to in the summer, and that we had to miss last year, is going to Island Park with our friends. We were lucky this year to have Brad's mom give us this cabin for the weekend when she found out they had other plans. Athough a few of our close friends couldn't make it, which would have elevated the entertainment, it was still tones of fun. We had enough food to last us a month and a club house near by. At the club house the boys competed in some intense racketball and the girls worked out. Then, we all enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The We ate at a couple yummy resturaunts and hung out at the cabin and played games. For the rest of the night, well, what happens in Island Park, stays in Island Park.
Teagan has been dying to build a snowman this winter and since the snow was hard and packed we were waiting for some fresh snow to fall. When it finally did we got all our gear on and headed outside but were really sad when the snow wouldn't stick together. So I formed a little snowman, the best I could with my hands and we gave her a little face. The kids attempted some snow angels and after 15 min they were cold and ready to go back inside. I love having all the seasons but heaven bless that this spring comes early, we need warmth!
