I Love Halloween!

Our really good friends from Rexburg always had the funnest halloween parties so when we moved to Malad I joined together with a friend (both think halloween is one of the greatest holidays) to plan our first halloween party. After a few weeks into the planning process I realized how much work a party this big really is. Food, desert, decorations, costumes, chairs, invitations, games & entertainment. I was a little nervous the day of because Cecilia Hess (party planning partner) and I were going non-stop from early in the morning until the party began. But it turned out extremely fun not because of us but because of all the people that showed up. Mike, Tyson, Heidi, Clint, ect. were hillarious the entire night. The party started with a heated game of "Do you love your neighbor". We then ate dinner which was chicken chili or hamburger chili with cornbread plus appetizers and deserts. After we played a guessing game where the girls kiss a poster board and all the guys have to guess whose lips belong to who and the guys go behind a curtain and put on high heals and the girls have to guess whose legs are whose. Last we played a battle of the sexes halloween trivia game that Mike organized. We handed out prizes for halloween costumes which were: Best Costume-Skyler (Axil Rose), Best Couple Costume-Clint and Beth (Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf), Most Creative Costume-a pregnant nun, and most creative-Tyson (Obama). After the party we got more pictures, fussed over Candis and Brent little adorable baby girl, Adilyn and visited. Below are all of the costumes at the party.

Family Home Evening
On Monday for Family Home Evening Tyson was out of town for work meetings in Boise. We decided to invite Grandma Mary Anne over to help us carve pumpkins. Teagan was such a good helper and was especially eager to help with the carving process which required using knives, not the best thing for a 2-year-old. The end result is suppose to be a cat, spider, and pumpkin sitting in a window.

Aeroball

When I was in Jr. High my dad own Grand Slam which had batting cages, Aeroball trampolines, and go-carts. They closed the business down when I was in highschool so the aeroball trampolines have been sitting at my grandparents house collecting dust for years. When we got to Canada for Thanksgiving, to our surprise the Aeroball tramp was sitting in the backyard. We spent the entire weekend competing in this extremely fun game. There are 4 tramps all seperated by walls. You have to throw the ball in your components hoop. The guys are playing 2 on 2 here. It is awesome to play because jumping for 15 minutes is like running 5 miles. I told my dad when he dies he better put it in the will that I get this fine peice of equipment.

Date Night

Bryan had asked us to go to a couple of concerts that I had never heard of so when he asked us to go to Angels and Airwaves and Weezer both of which I know a few of their songs, we finally agreed. The night started out with eating at Tacaunos and stuffing our faces, I had to undo my top pant button whenever I sat down the remainder of the night. Then, the concert! I have to admit I was a little hesitant about the concert but it ended up being pretty fun (it wasn't quite as good as American Idol). After the concert we search eagerly for any form of ice cream since the girls were craving it the entire night. We made it to McDonald for a McFlurry at approximately 11:59 just before close. The drive home was spent listening to Kristen snore and the boys chat, pretty exciting. Overall it was a great date and a fun night but I missed my little girly and made sure of it that she slept with Tyson and I that night.
