Oh my gosh, this tuesday was seriously amazing. We went to the American Idol concert and every stress of the week was instantly gone. I was a David Cook Fan from the begining, so I was estatic when he won and even more estatic seeing him live. Almost every single singer sounded better live than on T.V.
A few of the highlights of the concert were when Micheal Johns pulled open his jacket and was wearing a David A. tee-shirt followed by drinking from a David A. water bottle. The crowd went wild and I became even a bigger Micheal Johns Fan. He was pretty funny and an amazing singer. The show only got better, when Carly S. announced that "Brooke showed me her temple" and that "Brooke was right about Utah when she said 'this is the place.'" The crowd got even louder. When David A. got on Stage the crowd went hysterical. The top 8 singers were seriously amazing. My poor in-laws realized how crazy I am. My 12-year-old neice was literally embarred of me, so sad.
To add to the excitment of the concert, when we went to leave, they were giving free gum out and not just one or two packs, handfuls. PS, never offer to carry someones free gum in your purse. It was so fun and I really want to do it again next, season.

Bear Lake Moments
The Daniels family started a new tradition last year of going for a extremely relaxing weekend at Bear Lake. This year was really nice when we got hooked up and got to stay in a three story cabin. In the mornings, we headed to the beach bright and early and stayed until our skin was wrinkly and red. The evenings consisted of some fun ping pong, pool table and game moments that got a little crazy. We still had a bit of a camping experience roasting hotdogs and smores. The weekend went by so fast that we weren't ready to leave. It was a blast.

Last weekend we went to bear lake with our friends. We spent the weekend sneakily lighting off fireworks, getting thrown around on the Nitro behind the boat, having some heated matches of volleyball, and juggling campsites. Our weekend ended with a relaxing boat ride on the lake.
Tyson and Brad played some intense badminton.

Mom's and Tot's

I decided to sign Teagan up for a mom tot swimming class. The funniest part of the class was when we were to teach our kids how to do rainbows which helps them moves their arms when they swim. Teagan would kick her legs, keep her hands perfectly still and sing rainbows, rainbows, rainbows, over and over as loud as she could. She was pretty scared of the waterslide but by the end I would take her down it again and again more times than desired. On the last day the kids got fun toys if they performed certain skill and I am proud to say that Teagan passed.

The Fourth in Malad
I have to admit that it was strange to be living in Malad during the 4th rather than a visitor but it was tones of fun to be able to spend time with both sides of the family. Riess and Shawn graced us with their presence on the 3rd and then mom and dad celebrated the fourth with us. We enjoyed a bonfire with hotdogs and smores, ate at the Drive In, and challenged Shawn and Riess with timed races doing laundry.
Teagan had a rough 4th of July this year. She was teething, had a fever, has swollen eyes from what we think was allergies and more. She started cheer up later in the day but wasn't feeling up to the races (we have been practicing for weeks and she is really fast).

My parent enjoyed the 4th and even though my dad acted like he wasn't into Malad Idol, when he got asked to be one of the 16 audience judges, he was chucky cheese.

Twin Falls Tourney
The morning after the fourth of July, we headed to Twin Falls to watch my younger brother play baseball on a 17-19 year old Elks baseball team. Tyson is the youngest on the team and doesn't cease to impress me. I love watching him play baseball, it is a highlight when I find out that he has a game near us (2 1/2 hours away). Althought we only got to watch him play one game, it was worth it. That night we all crashed at a hotel. I witnessed a very cute moment by Teagan. Teagan asked Grandpa to say the prayer. After a couple of sentences, Grandpa caught on that Teagan was loudly and clearly copying his every words from watching baseball games to protecting Tyson. We all were trying so hard not to crack up.
I didn't realize how beautiful Twin Falls was until I got there. We took multiple picture by the bridge as well as watched a couple people parachute off. There aren't two people in the world that Tyson and I love hanging out with more than mom and dad.

T-Ball

There is definately a change between this summer and last. Last summer, family was a hit and miss when someone got enough time to travel a really long distance to see us in Coeur'alene. This year, Teagan gets to see a lot of her cousins who she has instantely grown to love. After going to a couple of Brevin's games with crazy weather ranging from freezing to rainy to windy, we finally hit a hot day which sadly was Brevin's last game.
I got to witness Brevin catch a pop fly, practice swing on the side with so much enthusiasum, wear his over-sized batting gloves and white haired little Kesler eagerly gather the bats for the team. To celebrate Brevin's last game we decided to go to a very crowded but fun pool to hangout. To our luck, we had some awesome help, Grandma, Brady and Bree tagged along. We didn't get home until after 9:00 which shows how much fun we had.
