The Fourth in Malad

I have to admit that it was strange to be living in Malad during the 4th rather than a visitor but it was tones of fun to be able to spend time with both sides of the family. Riess and Shawn graced us with their presence on the 3rd and then mom and dad celebrated the fourth with us. We enjoyed a bonfire with hotdogs and smores, ate at the Drive In, and challenged Shawn and Riess with timed races doing laundry. Teagan had a rough 4th of July this year. She was teething, had a fever, has swollen eyes from what we think was allergies and more. She started cheer up later in the day but wasn't feeling up to the races (we have been practicing for weeks and she is really fast).



My parent enjoyed the 4th and even though my dad acted like he wasn't into Malad Idol, when he got asked to be one of the 16 audience judges, he was chucky cheese.
