I have been meaning to put these pictures on for a couple of days now. This is Teagan's valentine, Jaimison. They have got to be quite good friends. At first Teagan was really intiminated by him but now she cries when he leaves. I thought it was pretty cute when I put them in the crib together and they were bouncing around and laughing their heads off. I wish I would have got a video of them dancing to "monkey's jumping on the bed". It was really hard to get a clear picture but I took a tones and that is no joke. Here are some of my favorites.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! Valentines Day for us started out with our car breaking down the night before when I was on my way home from Walmart. I knew it would happen sooner or later and to our great SURPRISE if finally croaked. Valentines Day morning we woke up and had crepes. We were planning on switching children with a couple from the social work program who we have become good friends with. They were very generous and let us borrow one of their vehicles while they watched Teagan and we went out to eat and to a movie.
We are currently watching their little boy Jaimison while they celebrated Valentines. The most fun that I had was dressing Teagan up in her little tutu skirt and doing anything I could to bribe her to pose for me (she's a wiggle worm).

My Little Angel

Motherhood has been the most rewarding gift I have ever been given. Although it is a lot of hard work, the worries of the world literally stop when I look at my little girly. Teagan is growing and learning more and more every day. When no one is around she loves to talk to mommy and daddy (I promise) but is very shy and tender hearted around others. It is night and day difference. My favorite thing in the whole world is prayers. The moment we tell Teagan it is time to pray she folds her arms and attempts to close her eyes (squints) and throughout the prayer if we say Jesus she yells amen, so we hear amen a lot throughout the prayer. Other words she can now say with a little encouragment are yellow and blue (working on colors), open, out, up, grandma, grandpa, apple juice, call, hello, bubbles, book, baby, I love you, eyes, and more. She shakes her head yes and no all the time but I guess isn't interested in saying the words yet. She is definately a girl. She loves her baby so much. She rocks her in our oversized rocking chair, puts her in the cars seats, puts her to bed, feeds her the food she should be eating, sings to her and sleeps with her every night. She is obsessed with giving butterfly kisses, and occationally will give mom and dad real kisses. She loves the oddest book for a 14 month old, the relief society manual. I think she feels like a big girl when she flips through the pages and will definately point out pictures of Jesus for us when we come across him in the manual. The moment I say the word bubbles, she takes my hand and leads me to the bathroom. This has resulted in Teagan enjoying 2-3 baths per day, we use a lot of lotion at our house. She loves mommy to sing songs like "Monkeys Jumping On The Bed" and "If Your Happy and You Know It". She is such a smart little girl and we love her so much and hopefully you know her a little better now too.
