There is a very special person in my life that we almost lost today. This person is my Grandma Folsom. My Grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer two summers ago and hasn't smoked or been around smokers a day of her life. Since her diagnosis she has been a fighter. With Stage 4 lung cancer, it cannot be cured but can be treated and most people live a few months, not a couple of years. But she not only fights through the nausea and pain that she has to suffer constantly for herself, but for all of us that love her so much and don't want to see her go. Yesterday was my Grandma 77th birthday and last week all the family that could make it gathered to surprise Grandma for her birthday. Because I was nursing Hudson in a nearby room I wasn't able to sing Happy Birthday to my grandma but I could hear them singing. I fought to hold back the tears but it was pointless. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has given us so much time with Grandma. Another birthday, another moment, another day. I love this women so much and I know that Heavenly Father has a timeline for all of us but once again I am so grateful to have had such an amazing grandma to strive to follow in her footsteps. I love you Grandma.

Hudson's Baby Blessing
First of all I want to thank everyone that helped make Hudson's blessing so memorable. It couldn't have been done with out those that traveled from far distances, brought food, set up tables, did my hair, wrote down Hudson's blessing, and helped me keep my sanity. The blessing day went so smoothly because of all of our close friends and family.
During sacrament meeting I couldn't help but feel the spirit so strongly, especially having so many loved ones supporting our new little addition to our family. Not only are we blessed to have his special spirit in our home but he is blessed as well with a family and extended family that love him unconditionally. And on September 6, the people in our lives that we have grow to love, came to support our son as he was blessed by his father. I couldn't help feeling the spirit as Tyson blessed Hudson with wonderful things to come in the future and I was so proud to have a husband that honors his priesthood. I thank those that shared testimonies that continued to ignite the spirit in the church. There were a few family and friends that couldn't make it due to certain circumstances and I want them to know that they were missed.
After sacrament meeting we headed down to the city park for the dinner. I thought initially that we might blow away with the wind but the wind settled and we had so much fun visiting and enjoying the park. It was hard to say goodbye to those that had to travel back to their homes but once again I appreaciate the effort in coming to Hudson's blessing so much and everyone that helped, thank you.
I was really smart and forgot my camera so I stole some of these photo's from Lindsey's blog.

When we got home my mom and I took some quick snapshots of Hudson all dressed up so handsome. He slept from sacrament, throughout the entire dinner and play and woke up right as everyone was leaving because Nate wanted to hold him. Thanks Nate!

Tom Boy?
Teagan is growing more and more each day which I hate. I want to keep her little forever. She is so special to me. She is my little princess. This past few months she has been on a princess kick. One day while Hudson was sleeping we made princess crowns. She loved her crown and ran all over the yard with it. It was hillarious. She also got invited to a tea party at her friend Hallie's house. I had her mom take some pictures for me. It was so cute, possibly birthday or Christmas gift. I love her so much and hope she continues to have a great imagination.

St. George
A couple weeks ago my baby brother decided to grow up and go to college. He is playing baseball for Dixie State and my parent and him decided to stop on the way there to visit. Because the kids and I had nothing better to do we decided to go along for the trip. We stayed in our time share and enjoyed the hot weather and swimming. It was a lot of fun but would have been even more fun if Tyson could have come with us. At the end of the week we met Tyson in Utah for a reunion. I couldn't have been happier to see him.

Clown Hair
I have been waiting patiently for Teagan's hair to get long enough that I can put it in sponge curler to sleep in. When I told her today was the day to attempt curlers she was more than excited because she helps hand her great grandma the curlers every thurs when getting a perm. I thought I did a pretty good job putting them in her hair, I am very hair challenged and we made sure to document it with these pics. But, in the morning my confidence suddenly shattered as I started taking out the curlers. Teagan definitley had curls but they were so tight she looked like she was wearing a clown wig. I tried as hard as I could not to laugh. I wanted to first see what Teagan's reaction was. I told her to go ahead and look. She stood up to gaze in the mirror all excited and then got a huge smile on her face then we both broke out laughing. She told me her hair looks crazy. It was hillarious.
