Christmas

On the 23rd we headed back to CDA to spend Christmas at home. Because I had to work Christmas Day night, my family came to CDA to spend Christmas with us. Although all of us passed the flu to eachother, we still had a blast. On Christmas eve we went last minute Christmas shopping, went to Olive Garden for dinner, and then drove around and looked at the Christmas lights. As we were driving we saw what we thought was a life size, ginger bread man which turned out to be a real person. The two Tyson's went and got a picture with this sweat old lady. She said they do this every year but this year not many people came to look at thier lights. My mom bought us all matching PJ's and Christmas eve was full of a traditional candle passing (when the candle is passed to you by someone in the family you express something that you are greatful for on Christmas), skits, and games (of course). We had tones of fun thanks to my family making the sacrifice to be with us this Christmas.
Teagan is in love with wearing hats, especially head bands. Santa sent her a Teagan size head band that she instantely fell in love with. The rest of the day she was wearing her cute little head band.
It started out with Teagan getting her first doll on Christmas, now she has three of the same dolls all in different sizes (large, medium and small). She loves her dolly's though. It was the first thing that she wanted when she saw what Santa brought her. Every morning when I wake up she is holding one of her babies.
The morning of the 26th, when I got off work, we headed to Canada in a hurry so that Tyson could make it for the alumni tourney. It was a lot of fun to watch their team make it to the finals and it was a close game but they ended up loosing. The whole week was full of games, watching my little brother in the Christmas Classic basketball tourney, shopping, going out to eat and celebrating our anniversary and new years eve and day, and getting together with my high school girl friends. I love going home to visit. It was really hard to say goodbye but we were ready to get back to our own little home waiting for us in CDA.
We love all the support that we have had from family and all the memories that we have created this Christmas season, my favorite holiday. Thanks everyone so much.
